Watercolor Workshop at Terra Farms
On Thursday morning July 23rd, we picked flowers from the beautiful U-Pick flower fields at Terra Farms.
Located just minutes from downtown York, Hanover and Northern Baltimore County, the Pick-Your-Own Flower Farm offered us artists and botanical lovers inspiration from nature, the outdoors and YES flowers!
From beginner to advanced, each piece of art was uniquely created.
What a beautiful day in the fields that morning at Terra Farms as we picked fresh bouquets and drew inspiration from nature & the fresh air to create fun watercolor paintings.

Study your flowers. Let the beauty of nature inspire you. What do you see?
Lightly sketch how you interpret the flowers. This is your stylized rendering and artist approach.
Now outline your pencil sketch using the fine Sharpie marker. Think basic shapes like a coloring book!
Let the ink dry a minute, then erase the pencil lines.
Now you’re ready to add a splash of color. You can stay in the lines or add extra details outside the lines for a fun washy look.
