Hand drawn illustration and T-shirt design for Caputo Brothers Creamery and their campaign to save local dairy farms in Pennsylvania from going to auction. This curious cow says thank you for using my milk in “The Curd That Saves The Herd.”
Caputo Brothers Creamery is leading the Mozza-revolution! They make artisan cheeses in the traditional Italian style, developed through years of study and training with master cheesemakers in Italy.
They are committed to exclusively sourcing their milk from local, family dairy farms. Their goal is to pay a premium for the milk they produce to create a more sustainable, local dairy economy.
The creative process starts with a concept that is drawn out on paper first.
This t-shirt design began with paper and pencil, then was inked by hand using micron pens. Once digitized, the hand drawn artwork was used in the design of a T-shirt with creative placement of typography.
Vector designs and custom lettering were also explored in the design process.
