It was a true pleasure to work with Universal Yums to design the packaging for their Tasting Adventures snack boxes. Each box takes you across a gourmet journey through a particular country around the world and features a trove of snacks and candy from that region. So many treats to discover! Design work includes art direction, illustration, graphic design and packaging layout.

Aiming to incorporate the handcrafted appeal of the brand, we knew the label need original hand-drawn art. The art style lends itself to a woodcut or engraving. Drawn with individual tiny black lines, the illustrations take on a carved look which adds an additional level of craftsmanship to the branding. Packaged in a glass jar, the label allowed for color distinction between the printed label.

The art direction and ideation came to life brainstorming how to give the customer an experience in a box. Designing the packaging to look like a suitcase was a no brainer! The stickers and luggage tag add an additional sense of going on a trip or an adventure. The design began with thumbnail sketches for layout and composition. Then, the final art was redrawn digitally with halftone textures in a sketchy hand-drawn style.

Badger Balm created a daily moisturizer and sunscreen that is sustainable, vegan and reef-safe. The beauty brand needed artwork that added a premium look to their daily line as well as face sunscreen. The tubes and box packaging come to life with painted illustrations of the botanicals and plants used in the ingredients.

Embrace the chill with Sly Fox Brewing and their brand new winter variety pack Bundled Up. It was a joy to work with the team and design packaging that not only jumps off the shelf, but also creates a winter weekend getaway! Beer packaging & branding for Schlafly Beer and their Biergarten sampler pack. Each side of the 12 pack contains a different Bavarian style scene. German beer pubs, patios and cobblestone walkways are illustrated in a line art style with pops of color. Four can labels were also designed in this beer series with hand lettering by Jeremy Friend.

Red Tail Alchemy is a winery and cidery located in Nescopeck, PA. The brand needed a logo that is approachable, hand-drawn and represents the quality and craftsmanship of the wine.
