First Sip Studios Logo Design & Branding

Logo design and branding for First Sip Studios, a broadcasting & media production company located in Pittsburgh, PA. It was an honor to work with the husband and wife team to bring their branding to life. Dennis and Sammie have become great friends and I'm always stoked to help tell their story through design.

First Sip Studios creates video and photo assets for businesses as well as strategies and digital marketing programs. Throughout the past six years they operated as First Sip Brew Box, conducting hundreds of interviews with small businesses (especially breweries!)

Hand Lettering

First Sip Studios needed a logo that showcased the personality of the husband and wife owned business. A quirky and fun logo that was also modern and bold. Exploring hand lettering type allowed for a custom look that is timeless and one-of-a-kind.

A primary logotype was developed alongside a horizontal secondary wordmark that works well on web applications as well as print. A monogram badge was designed for branding on social media and other favicon needs.
